Hope she likes horizontal stripes. One of the downsides of watching news most of the time is days like this. Lindsay is off to the jailhouse for a short stint. How will I be able to finish the chores I have been doing with all my sad tears? I can feel a depressions sweeping my soul. Woe is me, or her…
Iran almost has the bomb. Obama is failing and succeeding way too much. The gulf is polluted in an ecological disaster. Our nation is in two wars. The congress is hurtling toward Cap and Trade and Immigration Reform whether we want it or not. Quick, look at the screen, see the vapid child star vamp for the fans at the courthouse door. Diversion is good.

I like Sarah Palin. I have from the beginning. She isn’t perfect. No one is.
When Sarah Palin saw the US Weekly cover where Bristol and Levi announce their re-engagement, I am sure that she felt just what any of us would feel. Having your child bring home someone who has proven to be or will prove to be unacceptable is a heartache. Most of us haven’t been publicly maligned by your child’s new intended all over the press. I never heard Sarah say much about Levi except that she was sorry he was doing what he was doing and that it hurt the family. I think she stayed above the fray and tried to protect the family from further damage. Levi will have to face the music. So will Bristol. Remember they are young and stupid.
I have been blessed that, so far, our sons haven’t brought home any girl that we didn’t like. Still, I feel Sarah’s pain. Some other mother might want to get ahold of Levi and really tell him what an ass he is. Plus, my mother’s alarms go off about the possibility that this new relationship is more about avoiding his financial responsibility than missing Bristol.

The lawn mowing fairy didn’t come. The dryer lint cleanup fairy didn’t come. I don’t think I can count on the vacuuming fairy and the bed sheet changing fairy coming today. Do the fairies belong to a union?

There haven’t been that many of them. Pres. Obama and crew have gone on the road this summer to tout the progress of stimulus and the few jobs resulting from the huge bill that is bankrupting us, our kids, and our grandkids. This post at American Thinker has a good breakdown of two of the projects that Obama and crew are talking about.
The best case scenario is the jobs at the electric vehicle company are costing $640,000 each. At the solar panel manufacturer, the best case is 3500 jobs at $570,000 each.
Hot Air has another post about who gets the stimulus money and why. Seems you may have to be related to a congressman with a D beside his name.
Someone call Sheriff Joe, the stimulus is being robbed!!!

Jimmy Buffet is doing a good thing having a concert for the people of the gulf coast. However, he just can’t resist. The BP Oil Spill is Bush’s fault.
There is a reason why I mostly like dead actors, actresses, and singers. They don’t rise up from the grave and blame Bush. Just shut up and sing, or act.

Spy Swap – We send them 10 and they send us 4. Great, why are we on the losing side of all things these days. Putin and Medvedev are victorious. Couldn’t Obama have held out for 6, at least. Obama’s plan of Peace through Weakness continues on.

In the President’s overdue interview with the Israeli press, he says that Jews are just naturally suspicious of someone named Hussein. That is a nice simplification. It is interesting that Hussein is off-limits to everyone except Obama using it to make the Jews look foolish.
Note to Obama: Lots of us have concerns about your middle name. That is why you and the press do not allow it to be used. But go ahead, use it against the Jews. Maybe the Jews are just concerned about your policies, not your middle name.

In an announcement today, NASA confirms that the famous workspace of Mission Control has been moved to face Mecca. Stimulus funds were probably used to pay the union workmen to move all the cords and monitors. The theocracy in Iran is feeling so good about itself that they have decided to not publicly stone a woman.

This is a fabulous post referencing another post that is great.
Obama really doesn’t get it. The same Religion of Peace that made contributions to science a thousand years ago is stoning a woman to death today. Why does anybody at NASA need to make them feel better about their accomplishments? Obama, read Bernard Lewis. Figure it out.
