It is so hard to say enough about the sacrifice that our First Lady, her cool husband, and her friend, Oprah, have made for us all. They took a luxury jet to another continent and squeezed time from their busy lives to close the deal on the Chicago Olympics. I am certain the IOC is racist. Perhaps they didn’t get a really good look at Michelle’s fabulous arms. Her tremendous muscled guns should have made their pitch a walk around the track. Not all sacrifices are equal. You know, the soldiers that are killed in Afghanistan and the trip to Copenhagen seem to be equal in some eyes. The President’s dream of walking from his home in Chicago to see the Olympics has been dashed by politics and racism.

Pres. Obama Decides to be Decisive
Posted by madjillmom on October 1, 2009
Pres. Obama has made a bold decision. Today he has shown his statesmanship with a momentous and deliberative decision. He has issued an Executive Order that all federal employees should not text while driving. (per @markknoller) Russia and Iran are certainly impressed with the way the Pres. has shown such leadership.
I’m sure he was visibly wrung out by his own hard stance on the issue. Sorry, General McChrystal, he needs to rest on his way to Copenhagen to receive the Olympic torch for Chicago in 2016. Decisions and deliberations about a new strategy on Afghanistan to replace his old strategy on Afghanistan will have to wait a while longer.
