Obama 2011 State of the Union Prediction
Posted by madjillmom on January 24, 2011
I predict that Obama will continue to avoid doing what needs to be done. He has ignored the Deficit Reduction group he called on to come up with ideas to cut spending. He will not step up to the plate with any real cuts to any existing programs. It is already well known that he will call for more spending on “targeted” stimulus. (Did we learn nothing from Tuscon?) I suspect he will find a way to spend the next few years taking potshots at the Republicans and the cuts they want to make. He hasn’t gotten the message yet. I don’t think he will. He knows more than all the rest of us who want severe cuts in government spending. He will continue to be way less than specific about any proposals. He will probably come up with some new “tax” that isn’t called a tax. He will also blame Bush for something at least once. He will pat himself on the back for all he has done.
I hope I am wrong.
