The downside of having 24 hour cable news is apparent when snow in New England in January is the biggest story on said stations.  This phenomenon is not that noteworthy.  It is the abnormal that should be noteworthy.

The only take on it should be how NYC is now able to remove the snow when they seemed not to be able to around Christmas.  The bad press on the union that takes care of that now means the union has to do their jobs for real or catch a lot of flack.  Unions should be on notice that they can’t get away with the stuff they usually do.  Too bad it took some deaths to get to this place.
