Last fall, when the Democrats controlled the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Presidency, the decision was made by those powers to not pass a budget for fiscal year 2011.  I believe they did this because they didn’t want to be associated with such high spending in the run up to the November elections.

The November election came and the results to the Democrats was devastating.  Still, they had until the new congress took office early January to pass the budget.  Once again, the Dems and Pres. Obama decided to not do it.  Then the House of Representatives changed to a Republican majority and a new Speaker was elected.  The new house passed a budget.  Harry Reid and the Dems did not pass a budget.  If the Senate doesn’t pass a bill, it can’t be signed by a President.  So now two Continuing Resolutions have been necessary to keep the bloated government up and running.

The House has done their job.  The Senate hasn’t.  The President, who just announced his run for re-election has just yesterday lectured to the Republicans that politics shouldn’t be the order of the day.

Nancy Pelosi didn’t do her job.  Harry Reid didn’t do his job.  Obama and Biden only give lip service to the process.  This is only a preview of the future with debates over fiscal 2012 coming up soon.  This is when serious cuts must be made. The Dems only want to tax the rich, cut the military, and whine.  The Dems only want to run on how heartless the Republicans are.  Those heartless Republicans are the only thing standing between us and total ruin.

Dems, wake up and smell the disaster.  Quit whining and Starve the BEAST!
