Eight Miles per Gallon

Dear President Obama:
You seem to be fixated on some cars that get 8 miles to the gallon. My husband and I have two cars that we drive. Both have 4 cylinder engines. The one we track gets at least 25 miles to the gallon. The other probably gets close to that. Even the Suburban we bought new in 96 got at least 15 miles to the gallon with an 8 cylinder engine.
I live in a rural area. To get to the nearest Walmart is 17 miles one way. To get to a small grocery store is 9 miles one way. The closest post office is 7 miles away. The closest gas station is 7 miles away. Because of gas prices, we are traveling less. The more we spend on gas, the less we have to spend on other things. The price of everything is going up, so we get less of everything. We can spend 40% more than we make like the government.
Perhaps the reason you are fixated on 8 miles per gallon is because that is what the Presidential Limo gets.
