Mama Bin Cranky

Pres. Obama worked for about 3 hrs this week trying hard to be the grownup in the room.  It could have been done in October, but the Dems needed to get to a point of hysteria before a shut down could be averted.  It could have been done days ago if Obama had told the Dems to take the deal, but they really needed to try their best to milk the situation for a full glass of hyperbole.  Now, Obama is exhausted.  Those 3 hrs of work surely necessitate another long weekend vacation with the family.  After all, it’s been two weeks since he was in Brazil for vacation.

As a personal note, I had finally located the drain cleaner in the back of the dark sink cabinet.  I then found an old syringe and was in the process of filing it.  I was thinking of plunging it into my neck because the Republicans want to kill women and I am a Republican and a woman.  I guess I have received a pardon from Pres. Obama.  I didn’t even have someone lobby for the pardon.  I suspect the pardon is temporary as the debt limit will have to be raised in May and the 2012 budget fight looms.
