President Obama certainly does deserve credit for killing Bin Laden.  So does Pres. Bush because it turns out that the courier names being tracked came from Guantanamo interrogations 4 years ago. Obama only gave credit to his administration using a time line of last August.

Navy Seals and CIA deserve so much credit for bravery and executing the mission.

But this is not over.  The terrorists will strive hard to retaliate.  The alerts have been raised for travel for all Americans anywhere. Our oldest son will be deployed to Afghanistan this month.  I cannot help but think this elevates the danger.  Another of our sons will be commissioned next May.  Our middle son will be traveling abroad this summer.

There will be plenty of calls to declare victory and end the war in Afghanistan.  The Dems will want to cut the military to balance the budget.  I can’t help but feel that Leon Panetta’s main job will be making the military weaker.  I guess this will gore my ox.
