The new Dem talking head meme is that it didn’t just happen to Tea Party, Jewish, and Christian groups, it happened to Liberal and Progressive groups. I have heard this bubbling up this past weekend. Give us proof.

As this IRS political harassment has come to light, the numbers have grown from about 75 groups to more than 500. Copies of the outrageous requests for intrusive information have been shown. So, where are the liberal groups IRS requests? They are now claiming that liberals got the same harassment, so produce the paperwork.

What was supposed to have happened to 75 groups has become 500. What was supposed to be a few rogue agents has now become information from 88 IRS employees. What was supposed to have ended well over a year ago has continued into May of this year.

This fire could have been put out almost immediately if a bunch of liberal groups had letters with the same intrusive questions. They haven’t given out names of liberal groups that have been harassed because if they release a name of a group and the investigation doesn’t show harassment, they will be caught in a lie.
