Amazing. Sec. of Def. Chuck Hagel went to greet the coffins of the fallen today for the first time since he became Sec. of Defense. OMG. Not only has he been a joke, but he evidently doesn’t care too much about the fallen he commands. While I understand he can’t attend all returns, he sure as hell could have attended once a month since February. Unpardonable.

So today, in this shit storm over death benefits, he shows up, greets the families he denied death gratuities to and salutes the fallen. What a joke.
