Christie Bridgegate Investigation vs. IRS Tea Party Scandal Investigation

Posted by madjillmom on March 28, 2014

One day after Gov. Chris Christie is exonerated in an internal investigation over the bridge lane closure incident, the Dems are calling foul on the investigation because the governor’s office hired the legal team and the head lawyer of the investigation, Randy M. Maestro, a lifelong Democrat,  met Gov. Christi once upon a time.

These same Dems tell us that having Barbara Bosserman at DOJ, a civil rights lawyer, investigating the IRS Tea Party Scandal is not at all tainted by the fact that Barbara Bosserman is an Obama supporter who maxed out in ($6000 range) her giving to Obama’s campaign. No bias or impropriety there, no, sir!

Can someone check to see if Randy M. Maestro maxed out in giving to Chris Christie’s campaign in the past? Did he ever give a dime to Chris Christie?

There are two more biased investigations on the Bridgegate affair, one run by the New Jersey State Legislature (Dem), and the other run by the most politically biased DOJ ever. How much would you like to bet that the DOJ has a much bigger and higher funded investigation of Gov. Christie than they do on the IRS Tea Party Scandal.

Remember, Obama has already told us that there is not a smidgen of anything illegal in the IRS Tea Party Scandal.

What Happens Now with Obamacare?

Posted by madjillmom on March 27, 2014

Someday soon, according to the website, the enrollment period for obtaining insurance on the exchange is ending and will not be available until November for 2015 enrollments. So, when someone shows up at the doctor’s office or at a hospital emergency room and has no insurance, what happens?  Are they turned away? Are they taxed by the IRS? Just exactly what happens when you don’t buy health insurance and you are sick? According to my count, more people are uninsured now than when this thing started.

After all the extensions are done, after all the hardships are assessed, what happens? I can guarantee you that illegal aliens will still show up for care and expect someone else to pay for it. Young invincibles will still get hurt and need care. Someone tell me just what happens now, please. Someone ask the Dems what is going to happen since they are the ones who forced Obamacare down our throats.

Obama and the Nuclear Security Summit

Posted by madjillmom on March 27, 2014

Obama is asking other nations to give up their nuclear weapons just like Clinton had the Ukraine give up their weapons in exchange for a pact that Europe and America would protect their sovereignty. Wonder how they feel about that after the last month?

End wars, don’t win them! Peace through Weakness! Just being more flexible with Putin!

Obama Pokes Putin

Posted by madjillmom on March 27, 2014

A few days ago, Obama answered some questions in the Netherlands, while at a Nuclear Summit with other world leaders. He bristled at a question about Romney being right two years ago about Russia/Putin. He poked the BEAR. Called Russia a “regional” threat, belittled Putin and Russia for their actions in taking Crimea. So now, Russia/Putin must respond to prove they are not indeed a regional power. So will their next move be courtesy of Obama and his poking.

Regional is questionable. Syria is not near Russia. Iran is not in Russia’s region. Europe is not Russia’s region. Putin and Russia play a big role in all these issues so they aren’t just a regional threat.

Obamacare in My Email

Posted by madjillmom on March 21, 2014

After the Obamacare website was launched, I spent a good deal of time trying to set up an account. It didn’t go well and wasn’t easy, but I finally got to see what was available. After I was able to set up an account, the website told me that there were 39 plans, and all but one was cheaper than our existing plan. Or course, that really wasn’t the case. There were about 39 plans, but all but one was more expensive than our plan and duplicating our plan was double the cost of our existing plan. So I stayed with our current insurance and didn’t go any further. I wonder how much longer our existing insurance will be available and cost-effective thanks to all the rules and regulations of Obamacare.

Now my email is barraged with reminders from Obamacare to sign up. I get almost as much email from Obamacare as I get from Obama’s ever ongoing campaign to collect money to promote Obama’s agenda. I signed up with Organizing for America to know what they are up to. I get about 3 emails a day asking for money. OFA is the biggest beggar in my email.

I wonder if I am being counted as one of the touted 5 million customers of the wonderful Obamacare.

Obama Disses Michelle

Posted by madjillmom on March 19, 2014

While doing some really important Presidential Stuff (filling out his NCAA bracket), Obama let fly a cliché that if he won Warren Buffets money for a perfect prediction, that Michele would want some more shoes. How sexist and stereotypical. Michele should be offended. I think I am.

Meanwhile, back in Russia, Putin chuckles. While Putin reconstitutes the USSR, Obama ponders basketball.

Obama Orders Overtime

Posted by madjillmom on March 14, 2014

A few days ago, Obama said this:

“Today, I’m gonna use my pen to give more Americans the chance to earn overtime pay that they deserve. … If you have to work more, you should get paid more.”

With the stroke of a pen, he doubles the threshold of overtime for workers. It means that someone making $900 a week is now eligible for overtime rather than making less then $450 (give or take). Great. HE is giving the benefit, so is HE going to pay it? No. The man who couldn’t run a newsstand is now ordering all small businesses to pay overtime to so many more people. Where does HE think this money comes from? So now look for more people to be choked down to less hours in less jobs across the land.

Just a lot more of that magical thinking that edicts from on high make business sense. He is once again buying peoples votes with other people’s money.

Bossy Banning

Posted by madjillmom on March 12, 2014

Beyonce wants to ban the word “bossy”. Now the Girl Scouts are joining the ranks of those trying to make the word verboten. There is an argument that the connotation is very negative and usually only used in reference to a female. I would definitely be considered bossy. Big Deal.

I can’t help but wonder if this urge to ban “bossy” has something to do with the eventual campaign of Hillary. Seems a word made to be used with Hillary. Let’s ban all words that might make Hillary look bad. Let’s make sure that anyone who questions her credentials and accomplishments is called sexist.

If I were Beyonce, I would really consider banning the word SLUT after her last video.

Petraeus, Benghazi, and Eric Holder’s Justice Department

Posted by madjillmom on March 6, 2014

The investigation into Gen. Petraeus’ affair is still ongoing. What better way to make sure that he cannot tell all he knows about Benghazi. It is much better for Obama to have leverage over him. Now there are indications that Morell, second in command at CIA, was knee-deep in the talking points and covering for Hillary.

We were lied to because Obama couldn’t admit the obvious during his campaign for re-election.
