The State Department is having a rapper over to speak to the ranks of diplomats about Rap and Hip Hop. What a waste of time, money, and effort. What bullshit! Go ahead, waste your time.
Next time you are dealing with despots like Assad and Putin, just consider what you learned in this fascinating interview promoted by the State Department. I am sure it will help keep Iran nuclear free. I am certainly convinced that it will stack the deck against the ever stronger Putin. Further, I am sure that it will make dealings in deepest, darkest Africa so much better for having a greater understanding of the black experience in our inner cities. I bet this is just the “think outside the box” kinda thing that will finally allow Israel and Palestinians to work it all out somehow? How will this help anything? It certainly won’t bring back the 4 killed in Benghazi who didn’t have enough security while the State Department promoted electric cars in Austria at a great expense.
The world will laugh in John Kerry’s recently remodeled face. Mission out of control. Fire the person who thinks this is how to upgrade diplomats. Or maybe if the rapper raised some money for Obama, he can be Ambassador to some great African country like Kenya.

So, the Senate is taking up the issue of paying a death gratuity to Sen. Frank Lautenburg’s widow tonight. They are making it a priority to give this widow worth $50 million almost $200,000 for her grief. Last week, we needed Fisher House to make funds available for the families of fallen warriors to meet their bodies and bury their heros. This evening, we have time in this shutdown/debt ceiling crisis to give some shopping money to a millionaire widow. What kind of priorities does the Senate have?

High dungeon and impassioned speech from Sec. of State John Kerry.
A Sequestered US Navy amassing ships near Syria at a great cost and at the command of the highest levels.
Defense Dept and State Department people told to not count on a relaxing Labor Day weekend.
Obama and some of his (political?) advisers take a walk around the White House lawn Friday evening. It is beautiful. There are butterflies flitting from bloom to bloom. Obama decides to make congress the fall guy and not take any action on his own. Kerry and Chuck Hagel are informed because they weren’t on the walk around the White House. Was Valerie Jarrett on the walk. She is Obama’s “balls”. She is the one who wouldn’t let us get bin Laden on two separate occasions. Leon Panetta and Hillary Clinton had to muscle Jarrett out-of-the-way in order to get Obama’s buy-in on the Navy Seal raid that killed UBL. Is she why Obama backed down? I wonder.
On Saturday, when we are all expecting at least a few missiles lobbed in Assad’s direction, Obama goes to play golf.

Remember when sequestration was going to starve children. President Obama wanted sequestration to hurt so he closed the White House tours. But now, the Obama’s feel they can take a really great vacation to Africa that will cost $100 million. Then they will probably go to Martha’s Vineyard to rest up. But, hey, the Marines don’t really need a hot breakfast at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan, do they.
Maybe Michele and Barack should eat MREs on their excellent African Adventure!

There are some commercials brought to us by the Letter Carrier Assn. The commercial tells us that rural areas need their 6 days a week delivery of mail. The commercial tells us that we should say goodbye to our mailman. I have lived in a rural area for 13 years. A mailman has never delivered to my mailbox. The postal service has had contract carriers out here for all this time. No nifty uniforms and mail trucks. One of our “carriers” was a hard ridden woman with dirty t-shirts with the arms cut off driving an old dirty bronco.
Losing Saturday delivery is a minimal thing. In fact, I believe that we could easily receive mail only three days a week, M-W-F, with only a minimal impact. I do not need to receive junk mail daily to be happy. If someone needs greater service, let them rent a PO box in town for greater service.
Stop pulling on the heartstrings with pictures of handsome, young mailmen. They are not the reality, they are a myth in rural America. Adapt or perish.
Quit whining and starve the BEAST!!!

As I have predicted, the First Lady is no longer in the “I’m just like you. I shop at Target. Vote for Barack.” box. She is unchained. She has used government money to go to the Oscars. She probably got a very nice dress from a very good designer to give out the Best Picture Oscar. Yes, she is just like us. Well, maybe not just like us.
No, she isn’t. I didn’t watch the Oscars. I haven’t seen any of the movies they nominated. I do not know most of the names of the actors. I watched Duck Dynasty last night. When I saw the clips this morning of the surprise visit of Michele to the Mecca of leftist money, my first thought was the cost. I guess a few more meat inspectors will be furloughed and a few more children will lose their government babysitters. Sequestration evidently won’t affect this fun-loving,, high-flying (on our dime) First Lady.
The second thought that shot through my mind was did the administration trade this for not even mentioning Hollywood in the gun violence debate.
Update: She didn’t fly to Hollywood. She evidently did video clips for all the nominees during an inaugural ball with military props in the background. And by props, I mean people in the military. So I guess the soon to be sequestered meat inspectors are a bit safer.

A few years ago, PresBO signed an extention for Black Farmers to apply for large amounts of money to right the wrong of bad actors in the USDA. The USDA apparently discriminated against Black ranchers and farmers in loan requests. Next, the USDA paid out millions of dollars in fraudulent claims from blacks who never had a ranch or farm, yet found a way to milk the government for money. Just like all other government give-aways (no matter how well thought out) the payouts were rife with fraud and corruption. Breitbart did a lot of work on this scandal called the Pigford Settlement.
Earlier this week, part two of Pigford came in my rural mailbox. It is a glossy postcard telling us that if you are a Hispanic or Woman who was denied a loan, you have only a few months to turn in your claim. So here we go again. Bad oversight and fraud will be taking us for a ride again. It is only a matter of time before we see checks written to people who never even had a potted plant, much less a farm or ranch. I am going to go online and see what the claim form looks like. I planted some plants and I didn’t get a loan from the USDA so maybe I should get compensated for this.

Jay Carney tells us it is self-evident that the killing of the Ambassador is a terrorist attack. Here are a few other things that are self-evident.
It is self-evident that Obama is in over his head.
It is self-evident that the leaks about the UBL raid and the Stuxnet virus came from the White House.
It is self-evident that Obama feels income redistribution is a good policy.
It is self-evident that Obama wants women to be totally dependent on government, thus erasing all gains of the last 40 years.
It is self-evident that the Obama Stimulus didn’t work.
It is self-evident that Obama is doubling down on more green energy investments that benefit big fat cat donors.
It is self-evident that Obama is not at all concerned about the $16 trillion in debt.
It is self-evident that Obama wants more people on food stamps. His administration runs commercials to get more people to sign up.
It is self-evident that Obama thought the sheer force of his being going to make all the world love him.
It is self-evident that Obama has never been asked any real hard questions by the MSM.
It is self-evident that Obama does not believe in the right of free speech as he is now constantly apologizing for this right. He has also tried to censor the stupid little film.
It is self-evident that Obama does not like Israel.
It is self-evident that Obama has only one plan for the economy – TAX THE RICH.
It is self-evident that Obama is an empty chair.
It is self-evident that his Dream Act fiat was done to buy votes.
It is self-evident that Bush/Romney causes all the bad things and Obama didn’t do it.
It is self-evident that if he is re-elected, the Country is doomed.

Because it isn’t about law enforcement, sovereign borders, and security, it’s about VOTES.
Texas has the largest border area of any state. Illegals are picked up all the time throughout Texas. But now Obama has issued an edict that says we won’t deport. We will quasi-legalize those people. Already, I have read things about how lax the authorities will be with even the new rules suggestions that Obama has set out. Don’t worry it you didn’t get here by 16. Don’t worry if you are over 30. Go ahead and stay. We will give you a work permit, in-state tuition, healthcare, and some extra welfare to boot.
Is this the best place to cut? Why 6 stations in Texas and only three others outside of Texas. (Obama doesn’t like Texas.) The Dems would rather cut the military and security so they can advertise food stamps and welfare. This sucks.
