Claire Shipman, one time White House correspondent, has written a book with co-author Katty Kay, advising women on how to get more confidence. The book is called “The Confidence Code: The Science and Art of Self-Assurance – What Women Should Know”. Claire Shipman is married to Jay Carney, White House spokesman.
So she writes this books advising women on confidence, but she isn’t confident enough to go on Fox News and promote the book. She backed out of a segment with O’Reilly last night leaving her co-author to deal with it.
Last week there was a lot of press about a puff piece on the Shipman/Carney family that showed Communist propaganda posters adorning their home. I just read an article where she and her co-author say Judy Woodruff and Gwen Ifill are confident women. Shipman then tells us she is a Christine Lagarde groupie. How grounded is that? I would guess that 99.9% of American women would not know who Lagarde is.

I listened to the Christi news conference earlier. The MSM will hound Christi on this bridge lane closure until he is probably out of office. I have already seen Juan Williams ask how Christi could not have known about what his top level officials had done. Compare and contrast the MSM and their curiosity about the Tea Party IRS Scandal. Christi has already fired two people. Obama hasn’t fired anyone. He has let one leave early and one retire out. I ask the MSM to ask how Obama didn’t know about the Tea Party targeting when the IRS Commissioner had 160 visits to the White House during the time of the targeting. I ask the MSM to look at the Tea Party Scandal and look as vigorously at what went down and why didn’t Obama know about it. I also ask them to question the DOJ having an ardent Obama campaign donor lead the so-called investigation into the Tea Party IRS scandal.
While both of these scandals have legs, one is an stupid offense done by petty people with some power. The other rocks the tax code and the impartiality of a huge government bureaucracy with nearly unlimited power. One will be investigated by the MSM until Christi resigns. The other will be written off by as a phony scandal.

George Zimmerman:
- Labeled a White Hispanic
- Volunteered for Neighborhood Watch
- Tutored minority Kids
- Obtained a Concealed Carry Permit lawfully
- Was a productive individual prior to the night of the Trayvon Martin killing
- Pres. Obama even inserts himself into vilifying George Z.
- Will be at risk for the rest of his life due to stoked animosity and grievance politics
Ariel Castro:
- Never labeled a hispanic in the press
- Convicted Rapist, Kidnapper, and Killer of Unborn
- Father of Children from previous marriage – Did he pay child support?
- Behind on his mortgage and facing foreclosure
- No mention from Pres. Obama – I guess his victims didn’t look enough like Obama to be noticed
- Will live out his life in prison protected from those who might wish him harm
George Zimmerman has been vilified by the press and the usual race industrial complex. Ariel Castro kills unborn babies, holds three women hostage, funneling all his efforts toward his deviant sexual appetite. He does nothing for his community. We will all pay for his upkeep for the rest of his life.

Stop talking about impeachment. It will not serve the cause. Put your heads down and get some work done as well as investigating the scandals. But stop talking of impeachment. The MSM will make this about you if you don’t stop.

Alarms are sounding at the White House. Panic in the Conference Rooms. The Lap Dog Press is off the Reservation.
Shock Collars are currently being ordered. Re-Education Camps are working up their syllabusi!
As soon as the MSM finds a good off ramp, the actual questions will revert to banal “what a great/cool/smart President you are” type.
So fun to watch, but just won’t last.

The Senate is supposed to pass a budget for every fiscal year. It hasn’t done this in 3 years. President Obama is supposed to present a budget every year on Feb. 1. He hasn’t done it yet. I am supposed to file and pay my income tax every year by April 15th. If I don’t, I can go to jail. If they don’t, they still get paid and the MSM ignores the lawlessness.

This article from the Washington Examiner explains why your taxes went up. Warren Buffett, GE, and others who have an in with Max Baucus (Dem Senator from Montana) got the goodies. Why did Obama want this included in this bill? Why won’t the MSM ask him about this? So GE can now keep its profits offshore and not pay any taxes? It pays to have friends in high places.

Republicans are giving in. The much vaunted balanced approach is no more. Obama now only wants tax increases. He won’t bargain with any spending cuts. So much for cutting entitlements or other government programs. The President has lots of power and he was never serious about cutting spending. So much for a “balanced approach”.
He even said he would not sign a bill that wasn’t balanced. He will sign the bill to tax the rich without balance. No one in the press will call them on this blatant irresponsibility.
We aren’t going to have any meaningful cuts. We are going to feed the beast and screw our children and grandchildren. Kick the can down the road. Don’t fix the problems. Cutting spending is not a Democratic priority and never will be. Erskine Bowles said it would not be a good idea, but the Dems won’t listen to him.

Remember when we were told that Pres. Clinton’s major indescretion was a personal and private matter that we didn’t need to concern ourselves with? Remember when we were told that Monica Lewinsky was not a security matter, but just an embarrassing failing that in no way affected his ability to do his job?
Now, instead of finally calling the Obama administration to account for Benghazi, we are delving deep into the personal failings of a great man or men it seems. The government is checking e-mails, collecting computers, raiding homes, and probably checking for a stained dress in an attempt to ruin some men. The difference is the press loved Clinton, but not the military.

I was shocked and disheartened this afternoon to hear that the General has stepped down because of an affair. It is a terrible thing. Men of Honor can be brought low by foolish choices.
Now, the MSM will dig and dig and dig until they can undo this man and his accomplishments. They will use it as a distraction rather than dig and dig and dig on the administration and their handling and lying about the whole situation. I bet that before he was supposed to testify next week, his reputation and privacy will be in ruins. Too bad, really sad.
