In the next few days, Obama will claim that there are 7 million sign-ups for Obamacare. OK, let’s pretend that is true. Once again, I ask, now what happens to those who haven’t signed up? There were 40 million uninsured before Obamacare, so now there are 33 million uninsured (if all that signed up were previously uninsured). What happens when they go to the doctor or the emergency room or fall ill of a devastating disease? Someone please tell me what happens. Will they be turned away from the doctor and hospital? Will they pay a small fine and get insurance (not from the exchange)? Please let me know?

Yesterday, in the spin to call Obamacare a big success, Jay Carney told the press that 6 in 10 get it for under $100 a day. He meant to say per month. But honestly, how can we believe this? Where is the statistics that bear this out? I do not believe it for one minute. They can’t tell us who is signing up, whether they were insured prior to this sign-up, or whether they have paid. How can they tell us that 6 in 100 might or might not pay less than $100 per month. Most of the claims about Obamacare from the administration have been outright lies. Why should we believe this?

The IRS has admitted to using its immense power against Tea Party and other Conservative groups in the 2012 election. Heads should role. Remember, this will be the agency that will monitor compliance to Obamacare and its thousands of pages of regulations. Connect the dots.

Yesterday, PresBO told us all “Obamacare is here to stay”. He doesn’t care that it is opposed by a majority of citizens. He really doesn’t want to talk about it anymore. He doesn’t want to discuss the 180 new panels, agencies, or powerful bureaucracies that it creates. He doesn’t want to talk about the 21 taxes it contains. He doesn’t want to talk about the 16000 IRS agents that are being hired right now. He doesn’t want to talk about the 12000 and counting pages of regulations coming out of Sec. of Health Kathleen Sebelius on this law.
Just stop talking about it and bow down to the Central Committee. They know what is best.

Evidently Kathleen Sebelius doesn’t yet know that there is a good chance that Obamacare will be tossed out as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. She does know that Obamacare is unpopular so she decided that it was a good use of taxpayer dollars to give $20 million to a PR firm to promote it. I guess they didn’t learn with those Andy Griffith ads run awhile back. What the hell, it’s thinly disguised propaganda and politics. If a government program isn’t popular, apply expensive PR. I know how to get good PR for it. Just repeal it!

Our dear PresBO made a call to Sandra Fluke today. He did this because she was hurt by Rush Limbaugh. Rush called her a slut and that hurt. Sandra injected herself into the contraceptives fray of her own free will. Turns out she is not just a poor law student, she is 30 years old and an activist on this issue. Pelosi and crew trotted her up to Congress to tell her story of being financially drained having to buy her own contraceptives. Poor baby. Here are some suggestions and questions I have for Sandra.
1. Isn’t there a Planned Parenthood facility nearby where you could procure a prescription for contraceptives at little or no cost? You are 30 years old and a smart law student. Can’t you find the free clinic or Planned Parenthood in your area? I could when I was 17.
2. Some blogs have noted that Target sells the pill for around $10 to $20 per month. Assuming that you could pay that, the yearly cost would be $240 plus one doctors/Planned Parenthood visit per year. Let’s say the appointment cost $100 a year, so the cost of contraception per year is approximately $350. This cost for 3 years of law school is $1050. Not $3000.
3. If you are in a monogamous relationship, don’t you think your partner should assume some of the cost. He is involved in the recreational sex, so shouldn’t he chip in so he doesn’t become a parent before he planned to? So if he pitches in, you are now reducing your costs to $525 over three years.
4. You knew about the policy and were not forced to attend Georgetown Law School. Why didn’t you attend another law school where this was not an issue?
5. Didn’t it feel stupid to get a call from PresBO about your contraceptive needs and desires? I would have been very embarrassed. Maybe PresBO should give me a call about my hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms?
PresBO stepped right up into this. Rush’s comments are somewhat over the edge, but Ms. Fluke is a big girl. Now Rush is challenging an Obama supporting Super PAC to give back the million donated by comedienne Jon Stewart Bill Maher because of the names he has called Sarah Palin.

A liberal group recently got a lot of press regarding an ad showing a Paul Ryan look-alike pushing Granny in a wheelchair off a cliff. This should be the counter ad to that one.
A pack of grandmothers and grandfathers wheeling about on their hover-round chairs on a college quad. They should be swinging lassos and admiring the chairs they have for “nothing out of pocket”. Then a senior yells “There they come!”. All the medicare posse advances toward a group of students and lassos them.
Next scene. A few cattle trailers being filled by the students. The trailers should be named High Tax Future, Enslavement, and Granny Doesn’t Love You Anymore.
Pan out with a Grey Headed Mean Granny saying “That will teach you to mess with my Medicare.”
Medicare is going to have to change for us Baby Boomers. It will have to be means tested. I hate that. It punishes those who did the right thing and saved for their retirement. We cannot keep up this generational theft. Our children and grandchildren cannot be robbed of their futures. All government entitlement programs will have to be scaled back to only those in the greatest need.

I am distraught. Harry Reid has informed me that Republicans hate women. Other hysterical Dems have told me that Republicans want to kill women. This is really scary. I am further depressed because Harry Reid may not get his next paycheck and he already can’t afford to help out his granddaughters when they so desperately need a pap smear and some birth control pills. Oh, the agony…
I am also pretty certain that Obamacare is a total bust because the only access we have to women’s healthcare is by going to Planned Parenthood. There isn’t a Planned Parenthood nearby so I will have to fill up the tank with $4 gas to wait in line at the Planned Parenthood Clinic in Houston or some other faraway burg. I’ll probably die of some horrible woman’s cancer because I can’t afford the gas to go to Planned Parenthood and Planned Parenthood won’t have the taxpayer’s money and I guess they won’t be taking the Obamacare insurance even though Obama said it would fix healthcare by making it affordable and effective. And it is all the Republican’s fault. They/I want me to die. I heard it on TV news, it must be true.
Because I am a conservative and an evil Republican and a woman, I am pretty sure I will have to do myself in. I know it’s a mortal sin. But I am certain that Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Obama would not lie to me. If you don’t see a post in the future, you will have to assume that I have succumbed to the hysterical rhetoric of the Dems and allowed the evil Republican that inhabits my soul to do the deed.

- Boring and out of sync. The usual applause lines were stepped on as the standing and cheering was different.
- Unnecessary Parenting Advice – Teach your children to worship the science fair winner instead of the basketball players he loves. Make your kids do their homework. Move to schools with nearby gangs because they become better schools.
- Career Advice: Become a teacher because all our teachers are really old and will be retiring soon. Go to college. The government will give you money. Don’t worry that the education may cost more than you will ever get out of it.
- A Trip Down Memory Lane: Sputnik, getting a job in the local factory without college, the Transcontinental Railroad, the Interstate Highways, etc.
- Illegal Aliens pledge allegiance to the flag but might be deported anyway, at the schools that still allow the Pledge to be said.
- Rebuild America for the 21st Century, patch roads, high-speed internet to all (still waiting). Didn’t this all get done with the Stimulus? I guess not.
- Now that the Dems and I have rammed Obamacare through, I am now willing to listen to other ideas and concerns that I already heard but ignored before signing it into law.
- Debt is a bad thing. Let’s freeze spending at an unsustainable level and call that good enough. But wait, let’s invest in infrastructure and high-speed rail to 80% of Americans.
- Tax the Rich. I won’t be happy until I can take more money from the rich and give it to people who don’t do much.
- Government should function well. Kinda like the oil spill last spring. Salmon shouldn’t have to go to three or more agencies to be eaten. Perhaps he should have an agency devoted to Salmon. All the people who work for the three agencies can then go to work for the Salmon Agency.
- Muslims are part of America. Al Queda is bad. Taliban is bad.
- Iran and North Korea shouldn’t have nuclear weapons. No plan.
- Support our troops made up of diversity. Allow ROTC on Ivy League campuses like the one I attended. Put the recruiting booths right next to the Gay and Lesbian Club booths as they are now drawing from the same pool.
- Let Illegal Aliens become citizens.
- Reform Social Security but do not put anything or anyone at risk.
- Five Pillars of Plans. Pres. Obama is fond of pillars. They look real good in stadiums.
- Things we didn’t hear: $3 gallon gas, foreclosures, unemployment statistics, the value of the dollar, food shortages across the world, where to cut, the killing of Christians in the Middle East, wage stagnation, Fannie and Freddie, Pension Time Bomb, Higher Education Bubble, the scary picture of Lil’ Wayne on Rolling Stone, Just for Men Haircolor…
