Another Attack by Islam

Another terror attack on a policeman in Philadelphia. The accused perpetrator tells us he did it for Islam. Mayor or someone else iterates at news conference that this is not Islam. Who are we to believe? The guy that shot the police officer or the cowering official that tells us that this is not Islam?

Meanwhile, all over Europe, adherents of Islam are assaulting women, and the police and politicians are cowering in the corner telling women they shouldn’t offend those attackers. The world is upside-down. Now we just get to wait until it happens here so some more people can make excuses for this barbarian behavior.

Teaching Hate

As we view the carnage and reporting from the “Official San Bernardino Terrorist Attack”, I am really struck by the story of the woman at the heart of the matter. For reasons we can’t understand, this young woman choose to leave her six-month old child behind and wage jihad against innocents. Why would a woman do this? What was so bad about her life that she thought it was even remotely reasonable to give birth, a life-changing experience, and then abandon that child to enroll in a Holy War? Was it in any way a reasonable thing to do? Certainly not by our standards. We can’t even imagine such a call to arms. Why not?

Because we have not been taught to hate like these people have been taught to hate. Simply put, they hate us and Jews more than they love their own children. Their children’s cartoons are filled with outright Jew hatred. Their young children are taught to hate Jews and the Great Satan, America. They playact at killing us with real guns. They are fed a steady diet of lies and half-truths to stoke their hatred.  Even then, I still can’t fathom what Tashfeen Malik did a week ago. They do not think like us.

Islam wasn’t on my radar prior to 9/11. Even then, I sorta believed the “most Muslims are peaceful and moderate”. (See this article, hat tip Instapundit) But as years pass, I no longer believe that even most Muslims are peaceful. What I now believe is that most Muslims harbor a lot of hate, starting with the Jews. Even the only Muslim I know rants about the Jews. Is that OK? Will our little milquetoast Muslim one day expand his hate to Christians while being fed the notion that America, his home of choice, hates him?

I do not remember any case where my parents told me that I was supposed to hate someone, based on their religion, or skin color, or station in life. This is not to say I am without prejudice. I have my own, based on my own knowledge and concerns. I would never strap on a gun and go kill those I have concerns about. If I did, I might just head for a nearby Mosque.

I feel we are in a Holy War. It is Islam against all other religions. Am I wrong?

The couple who killed 14, injured 20 in a horrible act of terrorism in California, dropped off their 6 month old child before waging jihad. They evidently hated us more than they loved their own child.

Obama, Tilting at Windmills

After yesterday’s press conference, the world can see how Obama’s world is. He is so very busy tilting at windmills, claiming that windmills will save the world and future generations. He talks about winning against climate change. He talks about leadership. He talks about how it will all work better than expected which is why solar is now so cheap it doesn’t need subsidies (but it still does). He will then look back in a few years, when none of the many predictions of catastrophe come true, walk to the nearest teleprompter, and call his leadership in climate change the reason future generations will be fine.

Meanwhile, he is an Islamic Extremist Denier. Whistling past the memorials to the victims in Paris. He has now hired a ISIL Czar to coordinate the news on ISIL. He won’t listen to his military who just yesterday told the truth about Obama’s “contained ISIS/ISIL”. He won’t talk about winning and leadership against the real enemy.

Meanwhile, back in Obama’s World, solar is cheap, Obamacare is working, the stimulus worked, and our economy is great.

Hillary Survives 11 Hours of Grilling – REALLY?

The stories this morning are once again that Hillary came out on top of Benghazi Committee testimony. 11 hours – What Stamina!!!  Only it wasn’t 11 hours of grilling. It was at best 5 hours. Dems on the committee spent all their time not asking probing questions, but rather using Hillary campaign war room pushback on whatever the previous Republican asked or tried to ask.

600 requests for more security and an email to Chelsea tell us just what kind of President Hillary will be. No one was ever fired over the failings of the State Dept. under Hillary.

Who Will Lie to this Soldier’s Family?

Master Sgt. Wheeler’s body is coming into Dover AFB soon. Someone should ask Hillary to come to the ceremony to lie to his family. She can do it so easily.

I guess that won’t happen. Perhaps Ashe Carter will ask the family to ignore the bullets in his remains and be pleased he wasn’t actually fighting when he fell. Perhaps they can dig up a You-tube video to blame it on. Obama will probably be playing golf somewhere after vetoing the defense bill in favor of more welfare spending.

ISIS/ISIL is very happy they have taken this brave man. Rest in Peace Master Sgt Wheeler.

Does ISIS Sale Baby Body Parts Like Planned Parenthood

Word is that ISIS has blown up a baby in a video about proper use of explosive materials. I wonder if they called Planned Parenthood to find out how to sell the remains of the baby for a profit.

Mocking Islam and Just a Little Sharia

I support the event that was held on Sunday by Pam Geller. While it is uncomfortable to support the mocking of a religion, it is sometimes necessary to push the envelope and openly mock Islam or Mohammed. Some of the freedoms we have here must be exercised lest the populace allow more “creeping Sharia” to slowly take over.  If there is no pushback to the tenents of Islam, if we allow the State to start limiting this type of speech, then we are allowing this very restrictive religion to take over. Soon, I suspect some idiot will try to pass a law that calls this hate speech and imposes limits. Then what? Will we allow the adherents of Islam to restrict our rights?

It may not be viewed as wise, but it is sometimes necessary to push back against a religion that would kill those who mock it. Pamela Geller is drawing a red line. She might be drawing it with her own blood. She is already under constant guard and now there are those who have asked that she be killed because of her actions. She was in the company of others with the same target drawn on their backs.

The better question should be “Is it OK to put a hit out on someone who insults your religion?”. According to what I have read, if you convert  away from Islam, you are subject to death also. Do we allow Islam to condemn Pam Geller, Geert Wilders, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the cartoonist/artists who displayed the depictions of Mohammad, the School District that rented the hall, or me for writing my support for the event? Sometimes we must take a stand and do something provocative that challenges our usual way of thinking. It would be nice if it weren’t necessary, but it is. In the last 6 months, two bloggers critical of Islam have been killed by radical Islamists in this world. If on Sunday, a cop hadn’t been such a good shot, there may have been a lot more killing in the name of Mohammad.

Another Atrocity by Muslims – Will Christians Again Be Lectured by Obama?

Remember way back this year? Coptic Christians throats slit on the beach by ISIL. Obama lectures Christians about the Crusades.

Then last week. In his ancestral home of Kenya, about 150 Christian college students murdered by radical Islamic forces. Obama lectures Christians again at a prayer breakfast about saying un-Christian things (a vague reference to gay wedding cakes or pizza at a gay wedding).

This last week. Islamic refugees heading to Italy by boat throw the Christians out of the boat and threaten all who might tell the authorities. What little gem of scolding will Christians receive from Obama this week?

This is enough to keep the notion that Obama doesn’t like Christians and prefers Muslims in my head. Everytime the “misguided” adherents of Islam do something awful to Christians, Obama tells us it is our own fault.

Bowe Bergdahl and the Slow Walk “Investigation”

Even the Army couldn’t let this go any longer. Bowe was traded last May. The Army already had the goods on him. All they really needed to do was to interview Bergdahl. That interview took a few months at best. Then a few months more to connect up all the dots. Then about 6 months stalling before coming out today with charges against this possible deserter. In the meantime, Obama continues to be a fool. Five Taliban returned to fight us again. One stupid and confused young man now on trial for desertion. Why did Obama have to make it a celebration? It was a political move that served two purposes. The country was up in arms about the rise of ISIL/ISIL so “bringing home a brave soldier” was a way to look like he cared. Also, it served the greater goal of emptying Guantanamo. His error was his zeal to toot his horn with Bowe’s weird parents in the Rose Garden. A pat on the back, self-administered on the news. “Look at me, look at me, I love the military!!!”

I believe pressure was brought to bear by Hagel to keep this under investigation for as long as they could. Hagel is gone and the bad news is now out.

As an aside, Susan Rice is an idiot.
