Second verse, same as the first. Because he considers himself always right, the President is incapable of actual compromise. He is doubling down on tax increases and will not get real on cuts in entitlement programs. The press stands by, unwilling to push him for specifics. Obama has been a one trick pony on raising taxes on the rich acting like this is the answer to all our ills. Go ahead, kill the golden goose. Watch the market react to this lack of basic economic understanding of Obama on what makes jobs.
Another signal he is going on in just the same way, he met with Unions and all the leftists yesterday and has not met with business yet. I guess he thinks unions are responsible for creating jobs.
Remember when he told Letterman that we just need to tax the rich and make a few other minor adjustments to fix the economy. Remember when Michele told us we are in a huge recovery. Not in my world.

Obama has continued to “lead from behind” on cuts to the federal government. He has not used any political capital to push for reforms in entitlements and has stood by while the threat of sequestration threatens to decimate the military in a dangerous world.
Now Obama and his campaign is running around the country on our dime laughing it up about Big Bird and Elmo being in the crosshairs of Romney’s gun. He won’t let that happen. If he can’t bring himself to cut funding to PBS/Bill Moyers/Sesame Street how will he ever be able to deal with the really hard stuff like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and Sequestration? Where is his leadership? Is it too much to ask that he consider the actual future of our great country?

The US Navy is taking it green fleet for a spin. The problem is that the partially green fuel used cost us $27 a gallon as opposed to the current price of $3-4 gallon or traditional fuel. Further the Pentagon has spent over $400 gallon for algae fuel in 2009. The Navy says that since they use 2% of the American consumption of fuel, they can force down the price of green energy just by buying it.
I support all alternate forms of energy, but not with my tax dollars. We cannot afford stuff like this. While the Navy is doing this, the Pentagon is slicing and dicing ships and personnel to meet the absurd goal of sequestration while those on the left do nothing to cut entitlements. As a matter of fact, the government is marketing the use of food stamps as a lifestyle choice amongst the elderly. Good use of my tax dollars.

Obama is going the full court press with a basketball emblazoned with his humble visage on this. The answer to all problems is taxing the rich. All future cuts in spending or cuts in the rate of increase in spending will be couched in the same way. Why should we cut this benefit when we could simply institute the Buffett Tax on the evil rich? The price of gas is going up, we should tax the rich? So what if the facts fly in the face of this argument. The Buffett rule or tax will result in enough revenue over ten years to run the government for a week at the most. Obama talks about the rich needing to pay more and further wants to know how to spend this imaginary windfall. He doesn’t want this money to pay down our debt, he wants to spend more, as always. Obama keeps saying it is about fairness, but he never seems to learn that the middle class is tired of watching the poor suck up their entitlement while doing nothing to contribute. The rich and the middle class do contribute and are responsible. The entitled cradle to grave takers are “sitting on their couches waiting for the government check”.
