Problems with Trump

Posted by madjillmom on March 30, 2016

I do not hate Donald Trump. I do not love Donald Trump. I am conflicted about Donald Trump. I keep hoping that I will wake up from this bad dream and be happy about our candidate, but it hasn’t happened.

On the plus side:  I keep telling myself that Donald has to be a smart man. I even applaud him for being non-pc. I also agree with several of the things he has brought up along the campaign trail. Most notably, I have great concerns about our porous border. I also have great concerns about terrorism and a possible influx of Muslim refugees. I also love the fact that he is annoying the old guard of the Republican Party, even though they seem completely unable to see some of these issues as important and change their old ways.

On the negative side: Why does he always talk about himself? Why must he always tell us he is so smart, so rich, so everything? We already have a narcissist in the White House. Why can’t he just be classy and not be such a braggart? I believe he is proof that “money doesn’t equal class”. Will he ever drill down to policy issues beyond a wall paid for by Mexico? Will he ever not take the bait of a criticism?  He seems so thin-skinned. No one has treated him badly. Not even Jorge Ramos (an advocate mascarading as a journalist). Certainly not Megyn Kelly. Not anyone that I can see. Not even Michelle Fields. Will he ever be able to give a coherent policy speech? Will he ever be able to not punch back? I want a fighter, but not someone who trivializes everything. Can he act Presidential?

I didn’t vote for Donald in the primary. I am not sure I can vote for him in the general. What am I to do? I keep looking on some of my favorite blogs, hoping to get inspired by something he does. Mostly I see the Trump followers acting even more poorly than he does. Calling everyone names, worshipping all Donald’s most ridiculous pronouncements including those about hitting protestors and such. Several websites I used to love are now full tilt Donald supporters. I don’t like going to those sites anymore. I feel the loss of those sites, but don’t need Donald rah-rah all the time.

McCain wasn’t my choice but I supported him. I came to feel passionate about Mitt Romney. I believed he was a decent man who would do his best for our country. Now I may have to try to find a good reason to support Donald Trump. I won’t be because of his clown hair.

Di Fi Offends Obama with Leak Assertion

Posted by madjillmom on July 24, 2012

Senator Diane Feinstein (CA Dem) came out with her assertion that it was probably the White House that leaked all critical details regarding the UBL raid and the Stuxnet mission as well as other items.  Remember when Obama said it was offensive for someone to think that his White House leaked such things.  Soon after this, Sen. Di Fi got a call from the White House to walk it back as quickly as possible.  Obama is still offended.  Di Fi is mad at Romney for quoting her.

Pres. Hope and Change Says “Yes We Can Lie”

Posted by madjillmom on July 15, 2012

PresBO doubled down on lying about Romney today.

Don’t talk about the economy, don’t talk about the Straights of Hormuz, don’t talk about those 21 taxes in Obamacare.  Lets just talk about the debunked lies we are spreading daily.

In Obama’s run for the US Senate, he leaked the divorce records of his opponent.  Thank goodness Romney hasn’t been divorced.

Obama Got Foreign Student Scholarship

Posted by madjillmom on July 13, 2012

The Obama campaign is running around saying that Romney is a criminal because of paperwork filed with the SEC over Bain Capital.  They truly are out of control.

I believe that one of the reasons we do not know much about Obama in his college years is because Obama claimed to be of foreign birth in order to collect scholarships.  He gamed the system, kinda like Elizabeth Warren gamed the system by falsely claiming to be a minuscule portion Cherokee.  Why hide the college records of the smartest President ever to hold the office?  Because he wasn’t that smart?  Maybe.  More likely because he lied about being foreign-born to get money. Carney scoffs at the notion that Obama should release his college records.  They can’t do it because they know this “crime” would come to light.  Obama likes to lie.  His campaign lies all the time.

Remember when we found out that the publisher of Obama’s first book sent out a catalogue with false information about Obama being born in Kenya.  It wasn’t corrected until just before Obama ran for President.  Obama used his “funny sounding name” to his benefit.

Obama Lies

Posted by madjillmom on July 9, 2012

Obama and his surrogates and spokesmen have doubled down on calling Romney an outsourcer of jobs. They know that this is not true, but are continuing on with the lie anyway.

Further, though there is no evidence that Romney has evaded any taxes, all Obama’s minions are running around spouting about how we do not know if he has or hasn’t paid all his taxes.   In particular, Robert Gibbs is running around using this false claim.  This has resulted in conservative blogs running around saying all sorts of funny things about Gibbs.  Stuff like “we don’t know if Robert Gibbs cut the hose on Romney’s bus”.

Already most of Obama’s ads are negative.  I feel this is a sign of desperation.  I am pretty sure that lying comes pretty easy to the whole bunch.  Too bad the MSM won’t hold their feet to the fire.

Bad Jobs Number

Posted by madjillmom on July 6, 2012

I awoke this morning and turned on the TV. One of the first things I heard was the June bad jobs number.  I was thrilled.  I wanted bad jobs numbers. I want Obama to fail. I want Obama to fail so that my kids might have a future.

My husband was laid off from American Express after 28 years last December.  (Remember, Ken Chenault, American Express CEO, is on Obama’s Jobs and Competitiveness Council. American Express continues to lay off people but doesn’t announce their layoffs because it would be an embarrassment to Pres. Obama.)

My husband will be looking for a  job in earnest soon.  So I am wishing that it will be harder for him  to get another job.  I do not care.  The only way getting a job is a possibility is for this anemic, jobless recovery to be turned around.  Obama doesn’t know how to do that.  He wants us to be on the dole as long as possible. (He has not filed for unemployment or any other benefit, yet.)  We are pretty sure he will never have another job as good as the one he had.  We do not care.  What we want is for our children to have a chance.  Obama doesn’t want our kids to have a chance.  He wants us all to be victims on the dole.  He wants us all to be dependent on a bigger and bigger government.

We are willing to sacrifice to give our kids a better chance.  If you care about your children or your grandchildren, don’t vote for Obama.

Sending Money to Mitt

Posted by madjillmom on June 29, 2012

I don’t usually send money to politicians.  But today I sent money to Mitt.  I sent money to Freedom Works.  I sent money to Ted Cruz.  Would definitely consider going to Tea Party on the 4th if there is one somewhere near.  (Did I mention my husband doesn’t have a premanent job?)  This nation will not survive another 4 years of Obama.

Obama and the Dems never met a tax they couldn’t love and embrace.  Obamacare has 21 taxes in it.  Let them run on their pride in Obamacare.  If they think the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare makes it more palatable to people, they have another think coming.

Obamacare Survives and Taxes

Posted by madjillmom on June 28, 2012

Now we have the worst of all worlds.  President Obama will come out in a while and spike the football.  At least the way forward is clear. Repeal this monster.  A living Obamacare is a job killer.  Obama has given the middle class the largest tax increase ever.  Jobs are dead.  Long live Obamacare.

Obama Whines About Spending

Posted by madjillmom on June 26, 2012

PresBO is whining about spending.  Not the government spending he should be concerned about, but the spending Romney is doing.  He says he will be outspent.  Wow.  I wonder how Hillary and John McCain feel when they hear him cry about being outspent.  What a crybaby!

Romney and Your Wedding Present

Posted by madjillmom on June 26, 2012

Dear Newlyweds:

I wanted to get you something that will really make your life together better.  I though about a blender, or a gravy boat. Maybe some monogrammed towels. But those won’t really help you much.  Pres. Obama wants me to give him some more of our money on your behalf.  Instead, I am making a donation to Mitt Romney on your behalf.  If Obama wins, you and your children will be taxed beyond belief.  There will be little or no opportunity to grow and prosper because you will have to pay for all the mess that has gone before you.  Can Romney fix things?  I hope so.  We will all have to take the medicine and cut the size and scope of government.  All I do know is that I care for you and your future, so this is what I am doing.
