Obama, Putin, FIFA, and the Supreme Court

I guess my little mind needs some hobgoblins. I wonder about consistency with Pres. Obama. I listened to his press conference from the G7 meeting on Monday.

He was asked about FIFA corruption. He said he couldn’t really comment because it is being investigated. Next he was asked about the Obamacare case pending before the Supreme Court. He didn’t defer because it is being considered, he bashed the Supreme Court for taking the case and said they should find in his favor. Yesterday, he decided that the cop in McKinney should be relieved of duty pending an investigation. So where are your boundaries, Pres. Obama? Can’t speak on a subject under review? I would like some consistency your approach to these things.

Then he insisted that we and the other G7 nations need to keep sanctions going against Russia. We need to cripple their economy to deter Putin’s aggression against the Ukraine. He is emphatic about this. Yet, he says we must stop the sanctions put in place in order to stop Iran from building a nuclear bomb. Months and months of talks and no sanctions while Iran cooks up some nuclear stuff right under Obama’s nose.

Obama is 5 Million Jobs Short

While Pres. Obama goes around touting the unemployment number and the so-called Recovery, it turns out he is about 5 millions jobs created short. Meanwhile, the Oil Patch, and Oil Companies are laying people off. Those skilled people won’t have other jobs to go to. Their higher salaries will be gone.

This post was interesting. All the Obama stimulus promises are were a waste of money. Just like all the Obamacare promises about keeping your plan and your doctor. Just like that promise about the average family saving $2500 a year because of Obamacare.

Obama and Heartburn

I think he is a carrier and not just a sufferer.

So Obama was briefly hospitalized yesterday with symptoms of heartburn. Erring of the side of caution, he was given a CAT scan due to swelling in his throat.

I do want the President taken care of and given all that tests and necessary medical treatments. Normal treatment might be Tums and Rolaids or even some Prilosec or Nexium. They would probably schedule a colonoscopy or other scope down the esophagus in a few days to detect any problems. I definitely remember his physical a few years back and the virtual colonoscopy he was supposed to have had. A virtual colonoscopy would have been far more dignified than the regular one. So in healthcare “overkill” the President has been given a CAT scan.

I have had heartburn for 10 years. Never had a CAT scan. Wouldn’t be covered by my insurance or any Obamacare policy.

Obama is Clueless

Is he in denial?

Does he have any idea how the country will view unrest after the Michael Brown Grand Jury decision is reported?

Does he have any idea how much of the country felt when illegal immigrants poured over our borders earlier this year?

Does he have any idea how many people know someone like Jonathan Gruber and can’t stand that person? We all know someone who is “so smart” and let’s us all know it. Gruber has put a face on the process of Obamacare and it isn’t a pretty face.

Does Obama think we are stupid? On Ebola, on Putin, on Ukraine, or the IRS?

Obama is seen saying one thing a year ago and another thing today. Does he understand how that makes him look.

Now Obama is said to be the smartest man in the room by his advisers. Someone needs to let him know how all these things appear to people in flyover country.

Thank Goodness for Obama

Since giving up golf, Obama has been able to do so many good things. Here is a list of those great things.

Thank goodness Obama, Hillary, and John Kerry were able to fix the Israel/Palestinian problem. I am sure Israel has seen the error of their ways and is happy to accept all the incoming missiles of peace coming from Hamas and the Gaza strip.

Thank goodness Obama was able to help Hamas bring to justice the kidnappers and murderer of three Israeli teens a few weeks back, especially since one was an American. I am sure the whole Palestinian/Hamas population has condemned those responsible and arrested them.

Thank goodness Obama was able to bring down the price of gasoline. And groceries. Oh, yeah, don’t forget the health insurance premiums that have come down $2500 in this wonderful era of Obamacare.

Thank the Lord above that we have Obama to thank for our really secure borders. Because our borders are so secure, we are now able to turn Army bases and Air Force posts into summer camp for third world campers. Or, as Obama likes to call them, the “best and brightest” from other countries. Good for you, Barack.

Thank goodness Obama can things outside the box and be so flexible. He has really put Putting in his place. Now Putin is our friend, the Ukraine is off the front page, and we retain our Superpower status.

Thank Goodness Obama is so good at ending wars. His way really is thinking out of the box. No need to win a war, just announce when you want it to end, and voila, it’s over. And since he is so good at ending wars, we can now turn over large portions of our military bases to campers from other countries.

I know there are so many other things we can thank Obama for. Give me your list of his accomplishments. We can all be really impressed together. Having a President who is so decisive and action oriented is really a blessing.

What Happens Now with Obamacare?

Someday soon, according to the whitehouse.gov website, the enrollment period for obtaining insurance on the exchange is ending and will not be available until November for 2015 enrollments. So, when someone shows up at the doctor’s office or at a hospital emergency room and has no insurance, what happens?  Are they turned away? Are they taxed by the IRS? Just exactly what happens when you don’t buy health insurance and you are sick? According to my count, more people are uninsured now than when this thing started.

After all the extensions are done, after all the hardships are assessed, what happens? I can guarantee you that illegal aliens will still show up for care and expect someone else to pay for it. Young invincibles will still get hurt and need care. Someone tell me just what happens now, please. Someone ask the Dems what is going to happen since they are the ones who forced Obamacare down our throats.

Obamacare in My Email

After the Obamacare website was launched, I spent a good deal of time trying to set up an account. It didn’t go well and wasn’t easy, but I finally got to see what was available. After I was able to set up an account, the website told me that there were 39 plans, and all but one was cheaper than our existing plan. Or course, that really wasn’t the case. There were about 39 plans, but all but one was more expensive than our plan and duplicating our plan was double the cost of our existing plan. So I stayed with our current insurance and didn’t go any further. I wonder how much longer our existing insurance will be available and cost-effective thanks to all the rules and regulations of Obamacare.

Now my email is barraged with reminders from Obamacare to sign up. I get almost as much email from Obamacare as I get from Obama’s ever ongoing campaign to collect money to promote Obama’s agenda. I signed up with Organizing for America to know what they are up to. I get about 3 emails a day asking for money. OFA is the biggest beggar in my email. 

I wonder if I am being counted as one of the touted 5 million customers of the wonderful Obamacare.

Obama Pushes ObamaCare with Human Props Again!

Because we all know that Obamacare can only be saved if Obama gives a lot more speeches about it, the new rebranding is on. Obama gave a White House speech yesterday, pointing to the people props behind him, telling us how these people have benefited from this wonderful ObamaCare law. Strange thing is the White House would not release the names and circumstances of the people props he is using to tell us the Obamacare is the best thing since sliced peanut butter. So, as Reagan commanded, Trust by Verify.  Remember, many of the wonderful stories about Obamacare successes have proved to be false during these last few months. The President has proven beyond a doubt that he is willing to lie about Obamacare.
