The much praised and promised recovery is so poor that we cannot cut any programs, we can only raise taxes. This is the new Democrat meme. Cutting nearly any government program will cause the anemic recovery to get even worse. Where is the recovery that Obama promised? This anemic Obama recovery is only able to survive by growing government, it mainlines government spending and borrowing or it dies. Growing government is not growing the economy.

Drowning in Debt – Give Congress a Raise
Posted by madjillmom on December 30, 2012
Where in the world does this come from? Obama gives Congress, Senate and VP a raise. Why would he do this? Why does he increase spending from 55 percent over the next four years? In what world is this a cut? His cuts from the past are simply reductions in the rate of growth. He has never cut spending. ObamaWorld is a crazy place with where taxing the rich is a solution. It will cripple this anemic recovery and result in little increase in revenue. ObamaCare will further cripple hiring. The coming downturn will be a result.

Obama Doesn’t Want a Balanced Approach
Posted by madjillmom on November 28, 2012
Republicans are giving in. The much vaunted balanced approach is no more. Obama now only wants tax increases. He won’t bargain with any spending cuts. So much for cutting entitlements or other government programs. The President has lots of power and he was never serious about cutting spending. So much for a “balanced approach”.
He even said he would not sign a bill that wasn’t balanced. He will sign the bill to tax the rich without balance. No one in the press will call them on this blatant irresponsibility.
We aren’t going to have any meaningful cuts. We are going to feed the beast and screw our children and grandchildren. Kick the can down the road. Don’t fix the problems. Cutting spending is not a Democratic priority and never will be. Erskine Bowles said it would not be a good idea, but the Dems won’t listen to him.

Obama Is Incapable of Compromise
Posted by madjillmom on November 14, 2012
Second verse, same as the first. Because he considers himself always right, the President is incapable of actual compromise. He is doubling down on tax increases and will not get real on cuts in entitlement programs. The press stands by, unwilling to push him for specifics. Obama has been a one trick pony on raising taxes on the rich acting like this is the answer to all our ills. Go ahead, kill the golden goose. Watch the market react to this lack of basic economic understanding of Obama on what makes jobs.
Another signal he is going on in just the same way, he met with Unions and all the leftists yesterday and has not met with business yet. I guess he thinks unions are responsible for creating jobs.
Remember when he told Letterman that we just need to tax the rich and make a few other minor adjustments to fix the economy. Remember when Michele told us we are in a huge recovery. Not in my world.

Can Obama’s Victory Fund be Used for Personal Expenses
Posted by madjillmom on October 18, 2012
I have been checking on the Obama Victory Fund. At the end of June, it had $39 million. So it is probably $45 million now. Can this be used to buy a mansion in Hawaii? There are a lot of internet posts about the purchase of a $40 million mansion next to the University of Hawaii.
Also, I just read that Obama has doubled his net worth while President and his retirement fund is larger than Romney’s. Wonder about all this. What do you think? It’s a pretty large slush fund. How big is Romney’s Victory Fund?

Self-Evident the Country is Doomed
Posted by madjillmom on September 21, 2012
Jay Carney tells us it is self-evident that the killing of the Ambassador is a terrorist attack. Here are a few other things that are self-evident.
It is self-evident that Obama is in over his head.
It is self-evident that the leaks about the UBL raid and the Stuxnet virus came from the White House.
It is self-evident that Obama feels income redistribution is a good policy.
It is self-evident that Obama wants women to be totally dependent on government, thus erasing all gains of the last 40 years.
It is self-evident that the Obama Stimulus didn’t work.
It is self-evident that Obama is doubling down on more green energy investments that benefit big fat cat donors.
It is self-evident that Obama is not at all concerned about the $16 trillion in debt.
It is self-evident that Obama wants more people on food stamps. His administration runs commercials to get more people to sign up.
It is self-evident that Obama thought the sheer force of his being going to make all the world love him.
It is self-evident that Obama has never been asked any real hard questions by the MSM.
It is self-evident that Obama does not believe in the right of free speech as he is now constantly apologizing for this right. He has also tried to censor the stupid little film.
It is self-evident that Obama does not like Israel.
It is self-evident that Obama has only one plan for the economy – TAX THE RICH.
It is self-evident that Obama is an empty chair.
It is self-evident that his Dream Act fiat was done to buy votes.
It is self-evident that Bush/Romney causes all the bad things and Obama didn’t do it.
It is self-evident that if he is re-elected, the Country is doomed.

Tax the Rich and Call Me In the Morning
Posted by madjillmom on September 10, 2012
Obama is running around the country with a new funny line. He says Republicans/Romney/Ryan only answer to the economy is tax cuts. Got a headache, take two tax cuts, cut some regulations and call me in the morning. LOL. Remember when his favorite funny thing was the car in the ditch thing. Then he went all “moving forward, not stopping, not asking directions” at the end of his acceptance speech. All I could think was moving forward, not stopping, off the cliff that is our debt.
So, let’s turn it around. Obama has only one prescription for what ails us:
- Got 16 trillion in debt, tax the rich.
- Got 15% unemployment/underemployment? Tax the rich.
- Need to do something about sequestration? No problem, tax the rich.
- Government running out of money? Tax the rich.
- Teacher Strike in Chicago? Tax Buffett and me.
- Things will be great just like in the 90’s if we just tax the rich. I’m just like Clinton, except for that moderate thing.
- Stimulus didn’t work. Solydra was a bad gamble like a lot of others. No problem, just tax the rich.
- Just got back from a great trip abroad with your boyfriend, and can’t afford $9 for your birth control. Don’t worry, I really want to tax the rich. That will fix women’s issues because Romney hates women and Ryan will cause more women to die in the emergency room.
Remember, taxing the rich will result in 8 days of money for our bloated government. This won’t make a difference and will result in lower tax revenues. That means more unemployment. Meanwhile, Obama/Biden are driving us right off the cliff. The pot is calling the kettle black. Whoops, that is racist.

Pres. Obama = Paris Hilton
Posted by madjillmom on July 11, 2012
This week, PresBO told us he wants to discontinue the Bush tax reductions for people “like me”, i.e. those who are rich/make over $250,000 per year.
Today, Harry Reid tells us the bill the Republicans want to continue all the Bush tax cuts should be called the Paris Hilton bill, because that is who the bill will help.
Therefore, Paris Hilton = Barack Obama.
He is now Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton rolled into one handsome chocolate coating.

Obama Flip Flop
Posted by madjillmom on July 11, 2012
Just a while back, Obama told us that increasing taxes during a recovery would hurt that recovery. When he said this, the economy was growing more than it is now. So, has he evolved now or is he just flip-flopping. Probably neither. He is a very liberal democrat. Taxes are his lifeblood. The only thing he says more the “me” and “I” is “tax the rich”. He knows that taxing the rich will not result in any appreciable savings, but he just can’t help himself.
When states pass millionaire taxes, they lose way more than they ever hoped to gain. Apparently Obama doesn’t know this. This is about redistribution, not fairness.
Oh, and by the way, Romney is Rich. OMG.
