If Susan Rice is so weak that she can’t stand up for herself against Sen, McCain, Sen. Ayote, and Sen. Graham, why is she even being considered for Secretary of State? If she can’t answer the question about lying to the American people, then why is she in a position in the UN that requires strength and backbone?
The White House wants it both ways. We choose women, but the women are weak. Which is it?

Obama got his back up today in his press conference. He told everyone to lay off of Susan Rice and pick on him instead. He also said Susan Rice had “nothing to do with Benghazi”. If she had nothing to do with Benghazi, then why was she the one sent out to lie to us all about the reason for the attack? She does not need to be Sec. of State. Neither does John Kerry.

The Obama campaign now would like for those currently engaged to forgo wedding gifts and ask guests to give a donation to Obama instead. What?
The UN would also like those of us living the prosperous west to stop buying more televisions and other great stuff and send the money to the third world. Sort of a self redistribution is you like.
What kind of Presidential campaign asks people to go without wedding gifts? A selfish, stingy, desperate one.

The Dow is down pretty bad this week by 500 or more points. The IMF downgraded our future growth. Moody’s downgraded Bank of America. More rain in the northeast and no rain in Texas. There is still a big war in Afghanistan that we don’t hear much about. The Super Committee is meeting with no input from Obama other than the mandate to pay for his new programs.
Michele Obama borrowed some beautiful diamond cuff bracelets for a UN banquet or a campaign event in New York. Thank goodness the Obama’s are recognizing the awful situation we are in. Obama’s answer to everything is tax the rich. Only the rich get to buy and occasionally borrow these kind of beautiful bracelets. Remember what crap Nancy Reagan got for doing stuff like this? No, I guess they don’t.

The United Nations has appointed an official point person to greet any incoming aliens.
The Democrats are inviting Stephen Colbert to pontificate on migrant farm workers.
Priorities are really an issue here and in the world.

Pres. Obama just spoke regarding the Iranian sanctions just approved by the UN. He talked tough. He talked about last year’s manipulated elections and the death of Nedra on the streets of Iran. Too bad that condemnation was a year too late. I am going to check to see what this latest round of sanctions does. I sure the ruling elite of Iran are worried that they are being talked about in the Whoop Ass Advisory Committee I recently posted about.

Dictator Kim Jong Il has stopped shaking in his little boots and given a response to the mildly worded “we will now try to enforce current sanctions” missive from the UN, Pres. Obama, and Hillary. Was he contrite, willing to give into international sentiment that he not continue to develop nuclear weapons? Not really. He won’t let the inspectors in and will continue his nefarious pursuits. So, where are those consequences that Pres. Obama promised when they fired off the missile? Kim just upped the ante, will Obama fold or come up with another mildly worded response?

Pres. Obama has announced that he will do something about the rise in piracy in the world. Somehow he thinks his administration and the feckless UN can take care of all the scourges that afflict the world (global warming, North Korea, pirates, credit card interest rates…). If they handle this like they handled the North Korean missile launch, it won’t make any difference. Calling a meeting probably won’t cut it.
I do hope that this recent action against the 4 or 5 pirates will be viewed as a deterrent in pirate circles. If we bring the 14 or 15 year old pirate to our shores and try him in our system, and put him in an American prison, that will be a green light to all the pirates of Somalia. It is probably better to be in the American penal system than to live as a pirate in Somalia.

The UN Security Council has sent a strongly worded letter telling Kim/North Korea that they will continue with the same sanctions that aren’t currently enforced by the UN members. Boy, that really told them. Kim is probably crying himself to sleep tonight.
Pres. Obama is happy with the wording and content of the UN missive to N. Korea. This is totally stupid. I guess this is what the administration meant when they said there would be consequences. It is like a teenager breaking curfew and you tell him the punishment you gave him the last time covered the new infraction. Wonder if they will break curfew again tonight. Probably not.
